May be measured in intangibles —
Not measurables — and quirks
Of the game. This series … it may go
The distance — like two heavyweights
Who circle each other, mixing skill
And brute force, and each waiting….
But a championship team has to be able to win on the road. I just read that of all the teams to have made it to the post-season, the Yanks have the poorest road record. But that doesn’t matter: they only need to win ONE more in this series. My hunch is that it will go to a Game 7.
