Sanchez has now connected for 9 dingers! Of course, it’s getting hard to keep up with the kid. In all truth, I do believe he had spent a fair amount of time in the minors, so his time has finally come and he’s making the most of it. Tyler Austin and Aaron Judge both made a big splash in their back-to-back HRs in their very first big league at bat, but both have since come back down to Earth. Meanwhile, Ronald Torreyes, getting more playing time and showing what he can do. Those who will come up (or like Rob Refsnyder, come BACK) in the September call-ups could make Yankees life even more interesting. I still don’t know if the Yanks will make it to post-season THIS year, but they could make for a fascinating down-to-the-wire finish and next season could be even more interesting. Or as Brian Cashman might like to say: Stay tuned.
