Can’t step on a field today without greeting
Each other with yelps and chirps
And mumbles and sighs and razzes and burps.
“He started it,” they say when asked,
Though it stretches to a Chisox team in the past.
Their current squads yell, when they start to spume:
“We’re playing ball here–go get a room!”
