There’s the throw that should not have been thrown
And the pop up that dropped like a stone
Though they’re pros, both the Birds
And the Hose have laid turds
And have shown they’re to sloppiness prone.
There’s the throw that should not have been thrown
And the pop up that dropped like a stone
Though they’re pros, both the Birds
And the Hose have laid turds
And have shown they’re to sloppiness prone.
It was dreadful, like cat and canary,
But the redbirds fell Splat! from their aerie
They disgracefully blundered
And their ace, Boston plundered,
Knocked dead by the bats of chin hairy.
The Baseball Tavern on Boyle St., in Boston,
Must be hopping. The fielding question aired
On ESPN put aside, the Red Sox seem poised
To beard-brush St. Louis red birds aside.
We don’t need ballistic pairing.
Will birds be in beards, nesting?
Or will Boston trump Cardinal flapping?
Whatever . . . it’s a series worth watching.
In Boston they shave with a cleaver
Being tossed on a wave of beard fever
But poor Motown is shattered
By big blows they were battered
All is lost with no saving reliever.
