Giving fastballs a boost?
They acquitted, but my, did they cringe.
On the subject of baseball redemption
Certain clubs have been graced with preemption
.     They have scaled to the summit
.     But one’s failed, and now, from it
The sad Cubbies have aced an exemption
To the wall, back he goes, with a twirl
Grabs the ball, strikes a pose, then the hurl
.    Though the term’s not “correct”
.    I’ll be firm and direct:
