Which now stands at 7 dingers in 5 games—an incredible amount, but I think Bleacher Report is nuts to project a season total of 243 homers in the season. That’s only if he maintains this pace and with the number of games in a season and at-bats, it’s not likely. But if he were to hit 50 homers in this, his rookie season (I believe—is that right?) Story would still be a Major Story, Rocky Mountain air or not. He can’t hit them all in Colorado.
