With Spring in Their Step

by Hilary Barta

Arizona-tanned batters are belting
And throwers their catchers are pelting
With sliders and splitters
And striking out hitters
As the snow in the bleachers is melting.

Keep up with Hilary’s art at Surly Hack Attack and with his limericks at LimerWrecks.

Minnesota is just as horrendous. 🙁

  3. Hilary Barta wrote,

True blues to their home fields are swarming
The queue for the opener forming
    But they’ll find it’s a bummer
To be lined up in summer
When it’s humid from globally warming.

  4. Kaden wrote,

Fillany! This is just what I was looking for.
